- Skating and classic-style. A huge area in the valley bottom features the region's most scenic cross-country skiing tracks for all levels and abilities. Avid nordic skiers can choose from 60km of perfectly groomed tracks, among them 20 km of skating trails.
- High-altitude track. Gries is situated at 1,600m above sea level, on Längenfeld's "first floor". Thanks to its high Alpine location snow is always guaranteed until late spring.
