Gries

A winter dream. Plenty of snow. No noisy traffic. Just sunshine and silence. For skiing novices Gries offers two short beginner's ski lifts with practicing slopes ideal for kids.

The village boasts 12km of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails at 1,600m above sea level. Perfect ski mountaineering base for fantastic tours to the mighty Stubaital Alps.

Romantic winter walking path to Sulztalalm hut, further on to Amberger Hut and Nisslalm hut. Sledding down you return to the valley - plenty of fun!
